It's week 37! This has been an exciting week because mama and papa got a scare that babeebee is coming out and we checked ourselves into the hospital at night at 10 plus. It all happened that mama been having contractions the whole day. It is manageable and not painful so mama and papa didnt really think much about it. At night when mama was going to shower after watching the usual running man show with papa, mama noticed there were blood stains in mama's underwear and got a scare. In the baby class and internet research, it was taught that that should be the mucus plug closing the cervix opening protecting babeebee all these months. When that comes off, it means labor is impending. Quickly informed papa and we both we were nervous and decided to check ourselves to the hospital for a check to be sure. Turns out that yes mama is having contractions but am still 0cm dilated. The nice nurse told us that doctor said we can either induce labor today since having contractions already and since already here, or we can go back after the 1hr fetal check and wait for more painful contractions then come back. After discussing we decided to go home and let babeebee comes out when you want to... babeebee be guai and come when you are ready ok?
Luckily, everything is ready for you already babeebee. Granny been diligently washing and sunning all your clothes and linens and they are all nicely folded back into your little green drawer already. The smelly piglets and bearie also agreed to shower to welcome you. Your baby cot has also arrived and we will put on the fresh linens when you are back home with mama and papa ok?
This week, papa and mama also went to an event with mama's cousins lucky mama won a second prize! Won a sealy bedsheets worth $750. Mama is not sure if it is really worth that much.. but happy that won something! We went for some catch up after that and had a group picture taken. Last group picture was 7 years ago when mama was just 25 years old!
Papa and mama are going to see you again coming Monday and we are excited to know how you have grown and of cos hear from Dr what he says about baby's progress or if he still prefers to set a date for inducing you. See you!
