Week 36: Home alone week

This week, granny is out on a cruise trip with aunt kiki and when papa is out to work, mama is home alone.  Papa and mama had to settle our own dinner and that gave us good reasons to utilize our new car and papa is happy to drive to wherever we feel like having for dinner for the day.  Went to Zion hawker for their carrot cake /  braised duck rice, jem for our favourite sushi teh, IMM for ipoh hor fun, Changi village hotel for our favourite crabmeat linguine, etc this week.  Though mama and papa feasted quite a bit especially during weekends, good news is mama managed to maintain my weight for this week! This is due to controlling of diet during the day... Hopefully mama's weight can maintain for another week for the next doctor's appt!!

On Friday, Aunt bear bear aka Aunt Chloe surprised papa and mama with lots of pressies for you! Aunt bear bear is excited and can't wait for babeebee to be out to this world. Next time you must be a good boy and thank Aunt bear bear for the pressies okie?

Babeebee's car seat also arrived this week.  Mama and papa bought this car seat based on Aunt YL's recommendation.  Papa spent some time fixing it up and already placed it in the car car le.  Hope you will enjoy the car seat in future ok?  

Next week, papa and mama are looking forward to your baby cot's arrival! Granny is also going to wash all your clothes and bed linens to welcome you!

Week 35: Kaboommmm

This week mama's weight exploded and got a earful from Dr Benjamin Tham. 3 weeks ago mama was 69.8kg and today, mama has put on 2.5kg to 72.3kg.  Babeebee has also put on much weight from 1.9kg to 2.7kg.  Doctor gave you a nickname Dua Tao as he kept repeating you are too huge for  week 35 le.  Head big, stomach big everything big and doctor gave stern warning that it is dangerous for babeebee.  He asked mama to go on a diet. So here I am on strict diet of no sweet drinks.. desserts.. no rice.. and hopefully mama will do well in the weight aspect and babeebee weight will slow down too.  Just few more weeks to go for babeebee to come into the world and papa and mama will see you again in 2 weeks time. 

On Thursday, mama and papa went to collect our new car car! We bought the car car mostly for babeebee as all our dating days we take public transport and when mama is pregnant with babeebee we took more taxi.  As babeebee is coming out soon le so we bought the car so you can be more comfortable and more convenient when we go visit the doctor.  Piglets and bearie got to go out with us in the car too! Ever since we got the car we have been going to different places to try the food. Went changi village for nasi lemak, adam road for prawn mee, geylang for beancurd, PS and IMM for cheap / free parking etc.  Mama wanna try more yummy food before babeebee is out and confinement starts!  But today doctor gave stern warning already.  Mama is unable to eat as much as i want to...

Week 34: CNY 2016

This week busy mama, papa and babeebee have lots of activities again! Start off week 34 with CNY house visiting and all the relatives are eager for babeebee's arrival already. Next year this time, babeebee will wear a handsome attire and go visit the relatives and receive your first ang pau! Mama and Papa have started giving our first ang paus to relatives and some close friends and for all the red packets we still receive this year, we have kept them all for you babeebee!

Granny's 69th birthday was on 10 Feb and granny has of cos rounded off to her big 70th birthday! We went to a teochew restuarant to celebrate granny's birthday and had lots of yummy food there.  Even the waitresses aunties could guess that babeebee is a boy boy as they say that mama's tummy is very round.

Lastly, it's St Valentines Day on 14 Feb and papa and mama didn't deliberately celebrate as everyday is also valentine's day to us! This year it falls on a Sunday and we went to church, then lunch and went back home for a nap before going nearby for dinner! The restuarant is nice to give out free roses for all ladies and of cos fatty mama got a few too!

Mama has packed more stuff into the hospital bag as babeebee's arrival date is drawing near le. Looking forward to seeing you again next week at Dr Benjamin's clinic!

Tummy update @ week 34

Week 33: Papa birthday week!

Mama had an exciting week 33 adventure with Babeebee! First, mama went to Shangri La for high tea with auntie YL and auntie MT. Greedy mama had specially skipped breakfast so that I wont be too full to enjoy the yummy food.  We reached there at noon and ended around 3pm. Mama's favourite is the cod fish there! Had tim sum, beef, lots of cod fish, laksa, pulled duck mini burger, spicy chicken sandwich, cheese asparagus tart, lots of watermelon and rock melon.  Mama had purposely restricted myself from the dessert section and could only see aunt YL and aunt MT eat their desserts...

On Thursday, mama went to meet my poly friends Aunt Samm and Aunt Kartina for some catch up. We had steamboat buffet where mama ate so much! That's mama's second buffet for the week! When babeebee comes out, you are going to see a fatty mama le!

Friday 5 Feb was Papa's 34th birthday and we celebrated by going for a staycation in town. Went back to our usual Holiday Inn at Orchard and lazy papa and mama ordered room service as we are lazy to walk out to brave the sun.  We had the yummiest Char Kueh Teow which cost $20 and also grilled salmon! Both were so yummy and we ordered the same 2 items again for next day's lunch! On papa's birthday night, we went out to meet Uncle Allen who came back from NY for CNY holidays as well as a few other colleagues for dinner.

Sunday was CNY reunion dinner! Granny had prepared wu xiang, sambal prawns, 2 types of vege and bought Dian Xiao Er ducky back.  Again papa and mama ate till very full and ended the happy week 33 of babeebee with a full tummy!
